I am currently a postdoc researcher in Genoa at the Laboratory for Computational and Statistical Learning (LCSL) inside the group MaLGa working with Silvia Villa and Lorenzo Rosasco. The focus of my research there is on optimisation for machine learning, which involves the development of efficient methods and a deeper understanding of their behaviour.

I defended my PhD thesis in 2023 at the Department of Mathematical Modeling & AI of INSA Toulouse. My thesis is entitled "Inertial methods in optimization under growth conditions" (pdf) and was supervised by Charles Dossal, Jean-François Aujol and Aude Rondepierre.

My main interests in research are the following

  • development and analysis of algorithms for learning,
  • solving zeroth order/black box problems (no access to the gradient),
  • analysis of inertial methods and adaptive techniques,
  • study of dynamical systems for optimization.
